UNITED PACKAGE SMASHERS RELEASES REDESIGNED WEBSITE
Featuring Abused Packages, Customer Complaints and New Look
United Package Smashers recently released a fully redesigned website, featuring more images and video of smashed and abused packages and inside looks at what goes on inside United Parcel Service. The new approach at unitedpackagesmashers.com embraces the new Web 2.0 standard and is designed to give website visitors more opportunities to interact with the site’s management and other uses. Based on the powerful and innovative Wordpress 2 and Simple Machines Forum software, the all-new UPS site is designed to please.
United Package Smashers owned and site webmaster Keith Kimmel says he’s very pleased with the response since releasing the new design. “I’ve heard nothing but good things about the new design. People who come to the site tell me how much they enjoy the new features, the ability to comment on the stuff we write and they really like the photos of the smashed boxes. After all, that was what got this whole thing started, some smashed up boxes”, said Keith.
The former United Package Smashers site also featured photos of smashed packages as well as pictures taken by disgruntled employees inside UPS, but the old site was removed several years ago due to technical issues with the back end content management system. Since then, the site has just been a discussion forum which allowed limited opportunities to post images and other items that took the conversation beyond words. The new site permits the use of photos, video and audio, as well as other content.
Founded in 2002, United Package Smashers is the premier online destination for disgruntled United Parcel Service customers and employees to vent, laugh and joke about the service United Parcel Service gives them. In 2005, United Package Smashers was selected by Forbes Magazine as one of the top 10 corporate hate sites online. United Package Smashers has over 1,500 active website users.
